Moran Architects was commissioned to design the master wing addition to this
magnificent residence, nestled on the side of Black Mountain in Carefree, Arizona.
A central component of the design was the interface of the addition with the striking
character of the existing boulders and rock outcroppings found on the site. Moran
also designed the interior renovations to the main space that wraps around a massive
two-story high boulder.
